Welcome to study at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine!

This introduction is specially designed in order to help newcome students to understand the fee-paying process of the university.

I. Standard of fees：Checked and Ratified by the Guangdong Province Price Bureau and Education Department of Guangdong Province

II. Ways of paying fees

1. Pay the fees directly at the banks appointed by the university

When paying the fees, the student must specify his name, grade, student number and what the fees are paid for. The process: fill in the Bank Cash Transfer Slip→pay the fees at the bank→exchange receipt at the Finance Department of the university→register

2. Pay the fees directly at the registration place

Students can use the credit card or debit card with the marks of China Union Pay issued by the banks in Mainland China to pay fees. Credit cards issued by other countries (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan area) are temporarily not applicable. Students needn’t pay commission charge when paying fees with cards.

3. Directly remit to the bank accounts of the university

Students can remit the fees to the following bank. When remitting, the student must specify his name, grade, student number and what the fees are paid for. Before registration, please go to the Finance Department of the university to exchange for receipt with the remittance slip.

4. Consign the bank to debit

We suggest that students open accounts in the banks appointed by the university and hand in the photocopy of the first page of the bankbook to the Finance Department of the university. Students need to make sure to deposit enough money to the bankbook before August 15 each year. The university will consign the banks to debit. After the successful debit, the Finance Department will be responsible to give students the receipts. The bankbook may be used to pay the fees during schooling and receiving scholarship and assistantship, etc.

III. Attentions

1. All the charges are paid with RMB yuan.

Students with foreign currency needs to convert the foreign currency into RMB yuan first or may go to the appointed banks to pay the fees directly.

2. Students on the University Town Campus need to apply for the University Town Card

The University Town Card is the all-purpose rechargeable card with the function of identifying the identity, small-value electric wallet, Guangzhou bus and railway card which can be used in identifying students’ identities, dining, traffic, recreational activities. The card is provided by the University Town Card Company.

In order to make it more convenient for newcome students, the university has paid 100 RMB yuan for each newcome students to apply for the University Town Card, among which 70 RMB yuan has been deposited into the card and 30 yuan has been paid to the University Town Card Company as the nominal fee. Newcome students need to return the 100 RMB yuan to the university when getting the University Town Card.

3. Students need to pay the fee for the each whole school year at one time.

4. Attentions for registration

When registrating, the freshmen first go to the signing-in place, check the student number and take the Fee-paying Notice Slip and then go to the checking-in place of Finance Department of the university or go to the Finance Department to pay the fees.
