GUCM Successfully Completed the Higer Education Evaluation Task 2008年07月10日09:11:00 来源: At 10:00 am on June, 14th, experts of Higer Education Evaluation Center of The Ministry of Education offered their professional opinions on the investigation and evaluation to related leaders and teaching staff.       On June, 9th, Prof. Yan Shiyun was appointed as group leader for carrying out the 5-day evaluation task with Prof. Wang Zhihong as deputy leader, Prof. Li Ji, Prof. Yu Shuguang, Prof. Wang Yongdi, Prof. Wang Qi, Prof. Yu Feng as group members. On June 10th, President of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Prof. Xu Zhiwei presented the general report on undergraduate teaching to all experts and the deputy director-general of Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Wei Zhonglin. Then, all the experts inspected GUCM’s teaching infrastructure at university town campus and sanyuanli campus. 　　The experts were divided into two groups with one for inspecting two campuses, the other (clinical group) for inspecting the the first college of clinic medicine (the first affiliated hospital), the second college of clinic medicine (Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM), and Zhongshan Hospital of TCM. They also heard 20 lectures involving Chinese medicine, western medicine, acupuncture, materia medica, and ideological and political education from 7 colleges. They visited more than 20 departments and colleges and held 8 meetings. Experts investigated students’ basic knowledge and operational tecnique of CM as well as their examination papers and graduation dissertations. The teaching condition, institution, and administration of GUCM affiliated hospitals were also investigated.
