Students Enrollment Shows Favorable Tendency 2008年09月25日16:03:42 来源: This year, the number of overseas students who have applied for bachelor program comes to nearly 200 and the number of those who have applied for master and doctorate program reaches at more than 300. The total number of students admitted to our university hits at 358, among which, the number of bachelor program students arrives at 106, inlcuding 55 Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan students and 51foreign students and the number of master program students comes to 170 and that of doctorate program totals at 96, including 224 Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan students and 42 foreign students. The students enrolled this year bear the following features: First of all, under current circumstances, the total number admitted increase by a small margin compared with that of last year, which comes to 347. Second, students have a wider distribution, covering 17 countries in seven continents, such as Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Tailand, Jordan, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Serbs, France, Lebanon, U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Australia.  Third, the students enrolled this year have higher academic degree, for most of them hold bachelor or even master degree. Finally, with the opening of postgraduate program in Canada, we have made a big stride in TCM education in North America. According to statistics, untill now the total number of overseas students hits at 1,200, covering 26 countries and regions.
